Mr + Mrs Spires

We had SUCH a hard time choosing our favorites from this wedding! Faith and Nathan together are a joy to behold. The happiness and comfort they bring one another is absolutely evident in their photos. One thing we have noticed about Faith, is that she keeps a smile on her face at all times. She has the most infectious personality and keeps those around her laughing along with her cute southern accent and phrases. “Bless it!!!”

Faith and Nathan grew up going to the same church and reconnected down the road when they bumped into each other in downtown Macon. They started talking and dating, and two months later, Faith knew she was in love with him. Nathan went to visit his uncle in Nashville and Faith realized while he was away how strong her feelings had grown for him. She missed him SO MUCH when they were apart and decided right then and there that he was the one she wanted to take trips with for the rest of her life. Nathan proposed to Faith on November 11, 2018, and the rest became history! They love traveling together, hiking together, pretty much anything involving being together.

Their wedding day was easily one of our favorites, yet! The location was beautiful, weather was perfect, décor, food- everything was perfection. They chose to be wed at Historic Smithonia Farm located in Colbert, GA and we can’t say enough good things about this location. We loved all the rustic features inside, as well as the detached groomsmen suite which had its own saloon and horse stalls! Yee haw! Faith chose to have an elegant and traditional themed wedding and we loved all the little details. She chose dusty light purple florals with deep wine accents, mixed with eucalyptus and succulents as her center pieces. We also loved that this wedding was centered around family history and tradition. Nothing was left out. They brought along a heirloom bible that has been passed down several generations, photographs of loved ones who were missed, and the sweetest tribute to her Papa in heaven.

Fast forward to the fun part- the reception!!! So, Faith’s parents, Kenny and Tia, decided to surprise everyone with a very special guest. Being that her family bleeds red and black and they were close enough to Athens- what better way to celebrate than to chant the bulldog fight song and dance the night away with Hairy Dawg?! Yep, you heard it right- He showed up, showed out and it was AWESOME!

Ain’t nothin finer in the land, than a drunk obnoxious Georgia fan!!!” GO DAWGS!!!!

To Faith, Nathan and family: Thank you so much for not only choosing Southern Style Photography to be a part of your wedding team, but for making us truly feel like a part of the family!  We enjoyed every bit of the process and time spent with all! You will always have us as your fans and friends!!
